Forever Young

Happy Friday Everyone!

Looks like if I want to keep this blog going, I'm going to actually have to do some projects! I can't believe this week is already over. It's going to be a fast/furious weekend - but I am looking forward to having fun.

So, I made a few copies of this card recently to have on hand for birthdays (act surprised if you get one of these in the mail).  I'm finding it easier to make 3-4 copies of a card instead of just one. It also makes it nicer to have the stash ready when you need them....especially if you're like me and naturally procrastinate.

The Forever Young Cricut cartridge is probably one of my favorite ones so far - lots of adorable possibilities!

Enjoy your weekend!

Card Recipe
This is a 5 x 6.5 inch card. The girl on the front and her dress are from the Forever Young Cricut cartridge. She is cut at 5.75 inches. The plain cardstock (black for the model, white for card base, light pink for the top layer, and two shades of pink for the dress and purse.) is from Bazzill. The pattern paper layer and the inside decorations are from SEI's Chocolat collection. Although almost impossible to see in this photo, the light pink top layer on the front was run through the Cuttlebug flower folder.

The words on the front (fabulous) are cut at .7 and .3 inches. The purse was cut at .7 as well. Both are from the same Forever Young cartridge.  To finish it off, I added some generic "bling" to the insides of random embossed flowers.
