Fall Colors Challenge

Hello!

I love having days off from work with no obligations. My house is clean, laundry is done and I got to spend the day watching "guilty pleasure" TV and working in my craft room. I was able to finish two cards. Funny how fast the day goes when you're doing what you love! Hopefully tomorrow I'll get more done - but the rule of the day is.... Do whatever you want, whenever you want, for Wednesday you go back to work.  ha ha...

So the first challenge is from Whimsical Wednesdays  - Create a card or project inspired by fall colors. Must include a hand made embellishment.

I knew immediately what my hand made embellishment would be. Over the weekend, I took a trip out to Archivers and found these glue disks for making rolled ribbon flowers. I couldn't wait to try one. It just so happened that the only wide ribbon I had on hand was brown, so it worked for the fall colors challenge.

Now that I've tried it, I can't wait to do it again!  It was super easy!

Recipe: scrap Bazzill card stock, printed orange on the Imagine. Leaves/acorn/branch cut from Enjoy the Seasons Imagine cartridge. Yellow grogain ribbon and brown satin ribbon from Offray, bling from Want to Scrap. Sentiment from "Thanks" collection by Fiskars. The glue disk for the ribbon flower is Glubers from Cosmo Cricket.

Enjoy!
